How To Forward BigRock Custom Domain To Other ( Redirection ) Setting

In this post i will explain how you can add custom Redirection for you BigRock Domain names....means if you have any .com , .net , .org , or anyother extension domains,and you want to redirect traffic to any site like ( i will show you in this post to how to redirect domain [[ www.hackerspedia.net to www.hackerspedia.com ]] 

this redirection helps new domain to get postion, ranking and preference samein search results as on old domains, that means no loss of traffic and site reputation...

BigRock Domain Forwarding

Let's Start :- 

Main Note :- Do Not Change any DATA or Settings in Old Domain like we have www.hackerspedia.com we're changing data on other domain :- www.hackerspedia.net (New Domain)

Now First Login into your BigRock domain account

Click on your Domain Name from List Click on Manage DNS setting Section

Click on DNS settings and then option cName Recors,if you have added any manual cName or Blogger Records like :- ghs.google.com or any others simple delete all records and make cName Records empty

Now Add these 3 A Recors if you find any A Records Delet Them and add there 3 A Records

1st A Records  :-                              ipV4 :- 173.193.106.14
2nd A Records :-   Name :-  www    ipV4 :- 173.193.106.14
3rd A Records  :- Name :-   *           ipV4  :- 173.193.106.14

After adding A Records correctly now open domain setting again and open Domain Forwarding

Now simply Add URL of Domain Name which you want to redirection

Forwarding Section

• If your domain is previously parked on any site or blog and your pages are receiving traffic then must On Path forwarding which will redirect all path URL to destination path pages.
• If you have any sub domains and you want to sub domain forwarding on new domain name then must On Sub domain forwarding.
• After these settings Your domain name start forwarding within few hours. Make sure that new domain is correctly parked on your blog or site.

If redirection is start working then don't forget to submit change request in Google webmaster to make Google clear about redirection and index and drive traffic to new destination domain.

After submitting change address request also submit sitemap of new domain name. If you want to know how to submit sitemap then must read Submit sitemap in Google webmaster.

Here we're talkking about to set up a custom domain in Blogger via BigRock

If you have domain name under Bigrock and you don't know how to set domain your domain on you blogs. Then i will try to explain all these things step by step and request you to follow all steps carefully.

Setting Up Blogger Custom Domain

as we posted on last post that how to set up custome domain from GoDaddy

Follow Steps Carefully

Firstly open your bigrock domain manage account at bigrock.com.

After Log in your Account select list orders from menu bar and Then  click on then domain name which you want use.

After then go to the DNS Management of your domain name

Now you need to Create A Records of Domain by Clicking on Add A Records you have to create 4 diff. A Records using this ips one by one

216.239.32.21

216.239.34.21

216.239.36.21

216.239.38.21

Leave name column blank use above Ips in Destination IPv4 Address 

Add 4 Ips Step by Step

After creating 4 different A Records now time is to Cname for your domain

Go to Cname records column tab and and click on Add Cname record

www in Name box and put Value ghs.google.com and Save your Cname

Now We Need To Add other 1 Cname Record from our Blog

Now Goto Your Blog

1 - Login to your Blogger Account

2- Click on your blog => Setting -> Choose Basic

Now Click On + Set up a third-party URL for your blog

Then Enter your Custome Domain After CLICK on SAVE button and You'll See Error Like This Don't Worry Follow Me:-

Then your blog ask you to verify authority on that domain name. Now you have to create another cname record in Domain DNS to verify.

Simply add cname as we have done for adding www and ghs.google.com, no need to create it again. Create cname only using verification codes

we need to add 2nd Cname Host and Destination..

Now click on Add Record and all Done]

Now After following all above steps carefully it may take sometimes like 10-15 mins ( wait for alteast 5 min and click on reload button and add your custome domain again and click on save and done ) or Few hours  to updates DNS settings and blog verification. After few hours add domain name again by switching custom settings in your blogs.

If in Blogger Direct Save Will Not Work Then I Suggest You Please Reload The Page and Put Custom Domain again and Click On Save and all Done
